Nice pictures. Thanks for sharing. These caves are partly natural in origin and were carved and inhabited by Jain monks during the reign of King Kharavela. Consisting of about 18 caves in total, Udaygiri houses some brilliant carvings, specially so in Ranigumpha, Ganeshagumpha and Hathigumpha. Check out more about Udaygiri Caves.
