Our World Tuesday

Sometimes some constructions remind us bygone eras. This is one of that sort in many ways. The building above was constructed in the time of last years of British colonial ruling and it remained so withstanding all odds of time.Spacious corridors with the help of teak pillars are seen for outward appearance. There, inside it also,is drawing good ventilation and cool breeze all the time since there are plenty of trees around. This is clicked at Dummugudem village of Khammam district. In fact, the place is a repository of historical remains of Britishers' tombs and other constructions and most of them are getting in to astray as the time is passing  by.

  4. Really interesting history. Visually, it reminds me of many of the buildings in Samoa.

  5. I'll bet that old building could tell a tale or who about the British. Thanks for sharing your picture.
