Serpants Inter winding

The  Serpents' inter winding pictures are mostly seen in Saiva traditions from time immemorial in India. The Greek mythological symbol 'Caduceus' has also similarities with it..but  with only one serpent depiction.Nowadays the latter is used as a medical symbol with slight changes made. The Serpent is considered to be the power of  Kundalini in Indian Mysticism.

A Hill top shrine

In the first picture a bending tree is seen in the way of   Harinadha Baba temple situated at Bhadrachalam.Adjacent to Renowned Ramalayam. It draws very few people though it was built almost sixty years back.Harinadha baba was a saint, lived in flesh and blood once upon a time in Andha pradesh.Second picture partly depicts a shrine which was constructed as his memorial one.The Idols of Baba's couple are in the shrine.Surrounding atmosphere is very beautiful , calm and picturesque. No one will ask or disturb you whatever the time you would like to spend there.

steps are getting weaker as years passing by.
Small mandapam in the premises.

ABC Wednesday
