M for Monastery

The Monastery here featured located at Bylakuppe near Mysore,Karnataka. It was named as Namdroling Monastery.A largest teaching centre of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.Construction initiated as a bamboo hut in 30s' and the land donated by Government of India for the Tibetan exiles.Right now which developed leaps and bounds by accommodating five thousand lamas.

A teaching centre, hospital, prayer halls, guest rooms and temples all have been sprawled in a spacious land.Everyday tourists come here in vehicles.Temple architecture and wall paintings were splendid to see. Here are some pics from there for you all.
