Qutub minar, the 238 Ft tall tower was built in 1193.It was started by Qutubuddin Aibak and completed by Iltutmish and others successively.By the inscription laid there, the minar and other constructions were finished by the wealth plundered from 20 temples.Through keen observation,we can identify easily that there must have been other kind of constructions which are different from entirely minars are likes of it,in the premises.I felt that most of the sculpture and wall designs evidently tampered with another one ,on surfaces. From the lessons I was taught in the school, all I learnt was Qutub minar is one of the tallest and exceptional minar.
On seeing the minar and its surroundings , wondered there was more history that was not written in our text books for some reasons.Plainly speaking there were more things happened in the past.Somethings we would like to talk about, and the remainings are open to people to understand ...!
