ABC Wednesday

It looked Foggy..eh? yes, indeed it was. The serene scenic hilly location clicked at nearby Simhachalam, an adjacent pilgrim town of Visakhapatnam. The way all along Visakha to Simhachalam, you could behold such kind of beauty.Where nature mixed with action of people. If possible I will present more of it in the days to come.Hope you will enjoy the day.

ABC Wednesday

Efforts made to have a trekking recently. That was the hillock being seen in the picture.Friends from various places came here to participate in the event..The girl displaying a white lotus just plucked from a pond appearing distantly in this,on my request she gave the pose and that must be her mother busy going opposite way for reaching the destination.

Our World Tuesday

It is almost three decades since meeting the couple Sri&Smt. Talluri Radhakrishna Murthy garu, sitting in the picture. There were array of memories I should have been through, else, no meaning for nostalgic sway. Those were the days pursuing my plus two at the picturesque and serene village Charla.Soon after finishing my class tenth at Shanti nagar high school,Khammam ,shifted to Charla college as I have got no seat there and those were not days of mushrooming corporate colleges either.

In the course of time,a lot of things happened as they have all been off to Hyderabad and I too came out of the place on my livelihood as flurries rushed over there.

Sasi, holding the parents in the middle was then a year senior. She was a good reader and a critic of my poetry at my early stage of writing as well as her parents.I was, somehow, felt always homely whenever visited their place.Lost in memories when I see the picture. My respectful pranams to them.

Totla Konda

Totla Konda, the location is on the top of 128 mts top of a hillock near by Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh. These are a Budhistic monastariry's remains came in to light when the excavations have taken place during 1988-1993.Originals are kept in the museum and these are for models. Some silver coins belonging to Romans were yielded from here, with that expectations surfaced that there was an activity between the two regions almost during 2nd century AD.

These are terracotta models spreading across half a kilometer along with some well like pits filled with waters.Historians say These belonged to Hinayana sect of Buddhism and these were very nearer to seashore of Bay of Bengal. That means sea travelling could also be rampant in those days.

Rushi Konda Beach

This is Rushi Konda beach view at Visakhapatnam. We can have plenty of guest houses above on the hill so one can view beautiful sea in front of you and enjoy serene ambiance where you stay.I will post more of it in the days to come.Vizag has recovered from the worst hit of cyclone and all set to draw visitors from all the corners.A.P.Tourism provides here good stay and info about it.The person who was overlooking bay of Bengal is hopefully recognized by you.

A small account of the name of the beach could make you comfortable in many ways.Rushi means sage and konda means hill.Visakha is richly blessed with ecological lush reserves and sky touching hills. Some hills like Totla konda and other hills are recorded as residential complexes of Buddhist monks.
