It's a story behind a story. We all know silk very well. And also we know how it got acquired from the silk worm. I have read about Ahimsa silk which doesn't require any cruelty for the cocoons of silkworms.

ReplyDeleteThe ladies who were spinning the cocoons worked st an incredible speed.
we then went on to watcch some more ladies makingsilk rugs.I would have
loved to have bought one but we had already purchased a beautiful pure
wool Turkish rug, which still holds pride of place in the sitting room.
